Sunset Stagecoach Rides & Lake View Pioneer Dinner

Celebrate our 135th anniversary with us as we go back to our roots as an 1886 Stagecoach Inn & Post Office with a stagecoach ride and pioneer dinner! Ride in an authentic 1800’s stagecoach with Lucky Clover Farms and their magnificent draft horses through our nature trails.

Relive the Pioneering Days

Not only are we now the oldest continually operating Great Camp in the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park, but the Lodge began as an 1800s Stagecoach Inn & Post Office - and you can relive those days!

RESERVE & RECEIVE

  • Start your journey at the 1886 Main Lodge, where Lucky Clover Farms and their magnificent draft horses and stagecoach will pick you up.
  • After meandering through our nature trails, you will be dropped off at our Lake View Great Camp to enjoy an Adirondack Pioneer dinner (details below). We dug out the original menu from Chef Cathy Hohmeyer's family who originally built the Lodge!
  • Following dinner, you will be picked up by Stagecoach where you will meander to our picturesque beach and soak in our world famous mountain lake sunset as it nestles on the St. Regis Mountain range in New York State’s only wilderness canoe region.
  • Let Lucky Clover know if you'd like them to stop for a picture! They will then take you back to your vehicle at the Main Lodge.
  • But beware--there may be a stagecoach robbery; it is the 1800’s, you know!

Add to the Fun

  • Add on a history of Beer Workshop & Tasting with Ernest Hohmeyer! A ~30 minute experience where Ernest takes you through the History of Beer; along the way taste six (6) different beers from around the world.
