Disconnect from Stress & Reconnect with Nature
Though our location in the woods and on the water creates a rejuvenating destination alone, there is no WiFi, TVs, or phones in our lodgings to ensure a serene stay with a focus on relaxation, mindfulness, and making meaningful connections. We encourage you to unplug from the stresses of daily life and instead plug into the sights and sounds of nature.
However, we understand that complete disconnection may not be an option for all our guests. For your convenience, we provide complimentary WiFi in the Main Lodge lobby and gazebo.
Additionally, cell phone carriers that use Verizon towers do have some service and LTE/data coverage.

The Story
The Writer's Cabin was designed from one of the original “be creative and contemplative” Lodge cabins and built with milled wood from the property. This miniature Great Camp is where we derived “luxurious without pretension, imaginative within natural subtly and personalized character” as you will not find this interior design anywhere. Ernest, the overly imaginative craftsman in his own right, often comes up with an idea that reaches the extreme of possibility. Here, individual milled boards were individually sized and placed in between sheets of Adirondack fabric to give a warm, woodsy feel.
