A History of the Colors of Beer, Spirits & Tonics

Discover how the history and colors of ancient times are more than just a matter of flavor. Beverages can be truly healthy again. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be included. From the origins of the gods…to medieval recipes, enjoy this unique presentation.

An Adirondack Harvest Oktoberfest Brunch

An Oktoberfest brunch presented by three generations of the Hohmeyer family. From Harvest vegetable strudels to authentic Jäger schnitzels, and of course, don't miss the homemade desserts!

Weekend Itinerary

Friday, October 17th

  • 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Meet and greet in our 1920s Adirondack Speakeasy. Did you know Einstein was in Lake Clear? Enjoy a sampler of Prohibition-inspired appetizers.
  • 6:00 PM: Meander through time to a Taste of Germany Dinner, with interpretive history tips.

Saturday, October 18th

  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Harvest Oktoberfest Brunch.
  • 12:00 – 4:30 PM: Reconnect with your creative rhythm. Work on your project or get inspired by nature while hiking, biking, or paddling in our Sylvan Woods and Waters.
  • 4:30 PM: History of Tonics Workshop (Mocktails Available)
  • 5:00 – 6:30 PM: Colors of Food Tasting Dinner.
  • 6:30 PM: Informal Fireside Social; you are invited to display or bring your “work.” Opportunity to network with other artisans.

Sunday, October 19th

  • 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Add on Brunch and enjoy late check out.
