We drew inspiration from our Old World and Medieval recipes for a special Father's Day celebration. As part of our Flavors through Time Dining Experience, we have rolled out the red carpet for Dad and the family, highlighted by a Medieval Knight's Table Menu, Lake View Brunch, and Horse-drawn Carriage Rides!
Saturday, June 20th: Flavors Through Time Dining
Travel back in time with Dad, from the 1920s Speakeasy era to Medieval times! Celebrate the Hohmeyer Family’s 59th Year with a Special Father's Day dinner.
5:30 – 7:00 PM: Special Father's Day Dinner Experience
- Begin with the Password to a 1920s Speakeasy with Hidden Beer & Wine Cellar
- Choose to add-on a Prohibition Appetizer in the Speakeasy
- Savor an Old World Salad & Fresh Baked Bread
- Select Your Choice of Entree from the Medieval Knight's Table Menu (Below)

From Abby Ales and Trappist Beers to Wizard’s Tonics and Sorcerer's Spirits, sample medieval-style brews and tonics and learn of their myths and history in a 30-minute interactive tasting!
Sunday, June 21st: Lake View Brunch & Horse-drawn Stagecoach Rides
Celebrate Dad with a special Lake View Brunch and Carriage Ride! Savor Adirondack Alps flavors and step back in time with a horse-drawn ride.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Adirondack Alps Lake View Brunch
- Lake View Dining in our Adirondack Great Camp
- Overlook the new Adirondack Rail Trail, Lake Clear, and the St. Regis Mountain Range
- An exclusive selection of beer, wine, and Best "Cellars" from our 1920s Speakeasy available to order at your table
- Add-on Adirondack Alps Appetizers, from Game Wursts to Pretzels
- Adirondack Alps Brunch Entree choices from the fresh seasonal menu
- Choose to indulge in a homemade seasonal dessert after your meal
11:30 AM – 2:00 PM: Horse-drawn Carriage Rides
- 25-minute journey through fall foliage nature trails and to the shores of Lake Clear.
- Ride in an original 1850s Henderson Stagecoach with Percheron Draft Horses.
- Opportunity to meet the Percheron Draft Horses and take photos with them.
- Beware–this is the 1800s: you may be robbed while on your Stagecoach ride!
