The Adirondack Great Lodge Experience

As one of the last of its kind, we honor the lore of the Adirondack Great Camps which were all about immersive experiences. Our family provides not just Adirondack lodging, but a themed seasonal experience for you to discover our nature and reconnect with yours.

25 Acres of Foliage

Lodgings spread apart in the iconic Great Camp Tradition, Stagecoach rides to a mesmerizing mountain-lake sunset, and Great Camp Dinners with an Old World flair await you.

It’s not only the spectacular foliage, but it’s also a fusion of one of the earliest Adirondack pioneer families who built the lodge, Cathy (Fisher) Hohmeyer, and Ernest Hohmeyer’s family, first-generation European immigrants.

Revel in An Adirondack Fall Harvest

Fall makes for a great time to experience artisan lodgings, harvest foods with Old World flair and an amazing array of immersions from haunted wagon and Stagecoach rides and serene lake sunsets to the Myths & History of Octoberfest Beer Tastings and Old World Cooking Demos savor a colorful experience.

How did Lake Placid, our neighbors, pull off only the 3rd Winter Olympic Games in history in 1932? Many Europeans had flocked here and they called our region their Adirondack Alps.
