Ride with a local farm on a beautiful wooden sleigh as it journeys through the Lodge's lantern-lit wooded trails while the stars show the way to the lake. Step back in time to when the Lake Clear Lodge operated in the Prohibition days, where they transported both people and the "spirits" of the woods via sleigh!

More than just a Lantern-lit Sleigh Ride! Enjoy a Sleigh Ride and Speakeasy Experience where you can explore one of the last original Adirondack Lodges. You'll need a password to get in, and a 1920s Copper might even raid us! Ride with a local farm on your journey through the Lake Clear Lodge's lantern-lit, wooded trails while the stars show the way to the lake.

  • 4:00 PM: Hands-on Roll In The Dough Cooking Class
    A family-fun 30-minute cooking class where you can roll in the dough like ‘dem gangsters! Join Executive Chef Cathy Hohmeyer in a hands-on demo where she guides you on creating a strudel you can take home with you or have for dessert! You’ll also learn how to make strudels savory or sweet while incorporating traditional food preparations that go back thousands of years.
  • 4:20 PM: History of Ancient Brews & Tonics Tasting
    Required ride time    : 5:05 PM or later.

1. Ride length and route is approximate and may vary due to trail conditions, live animals, and other factors.

2. In the event of adverse weather conditions where the runners are not suitable, the farm may use their wheel kit or a hand-crafted wagon in place of the sleigh for your horse-drawn ride.

3. As the farm has a single sleigh and team of horses, private rides require booking out the entire time slot for your party.
