"Healing Woods" & Water Getaway

ABOUT This Experience

Book before June 4th and save 20% on your lodging stay!

The Lodge is one of the last of the original Adirondack Great Camps: for more than 100 years, our area has been known as the “Healing Woods.” Wellness is our natural and human nature.

Your spa, a private beach on 1,000-acre Lake Clear within the 18,000-acre window of New York State’s only wilderness canoe region. Your pool, our beach to dip in as you soak in one of the world’s most stunning mountain lake sunsets. A sense of nature’s place where Einstein contemplated.

Your room, our 25 acres with each artisan lodging intentionally set-apart in the iconic Great Camp tradition: a sensory-filled experience.

Want to up your vibe? Before dinner sample an introduction to Nutritional Energetics or Learn the 10 Essentials Every Wellness Kitchen Should Have. As a Healing Woods guest, take them home with you, through a diverse set of member-only online programs.

From families to couples, create your own “Healing Woods” experience. Reset with three-generations of Adirondack Wellness Guides to facilitate your own wellness path.

  • Hand-built Lodgings spaciously set apart. Your own chalet in the “healing woods.”
  • A National Geographic Traveler Award for a “sense of place” highlighted by a picturesque beach and stunning mountain-lake sunsets where Einstein contemplated (see our webcam!)
  • Private Dining In Your Artisan Lodging: Executive Chef Cathy Hohmeyer, an occupational therapist who has created her signature culinary naturopathy cuisine, continues the generational tradition where your table is yours for the evening, limited to a dining room of 40 guests. Or, you can order a takeout picnic basket to enjoy in your artisan lodging or at the lake.
  • 25-Acres of Space to Breathe, open your arms and let your imagination meander along our nature trails and picturesque beach.
